In our campaign “Partners of HBI C-Flex”, we are introducing the team members of each partner and their tasks in our project continuing with the team from Primetals Technologies.

Primetals’ role in the HBI C-flex project focuses on providing state-of-the-art knowledge to support the project’s objectives. Specifically, the activities include:
- Evaluating trial results and providing recommendations for HBI production
- Comparing the findings against standard regulations for the safe handling and transport of HBI
- Providing guidance for safe HBI handling and transport
The high-level team of Primetals Technologies consists of Bernhard Hiebl, Technology Head for Agglomeration and Direct Reduction, Robert Millner, Principal Expert for Direct Reduction (both responsible for the elaboration of the results) and Christian Böhm, Technical Sales for Direct Reduction and in another role as Chairman of the Technical Committee of IIMA (coordinating the activities of Primetals Technologies and additionally as a member of IIMA also coordinating the members of the SAB group). The Primetals Technology team meets regularly to update each other on the work in progress, plan the next steps and participate in the HBI C-Flex project status meetings.
