This document provides a market analysis with quantitative data obtained from a literature review and qualitative data derived from deep-dive interviews with stakeholders along the supply chain. Information and data of iron ore mining companies, direct reduction (DR)-grade pellet suppliers, plants for hot briquetted iron (HBI) production, shipments of direct reduced iron (DRI) and HBI as well as HBI/steel producing companies and global crude steel production are described in the first part of the deliverable. The second part summarises answers gathered in the interviews.
